Many of our neighbors in Mount Olive struggle to put food on the table, especially now. The Mount Olive Pantry believes that no one should go to bed hungry, and we need your help. While donated food items are greatly appreciated, they often don’t make a meal. Gift cards to the local grocery stores help us fill in the gaps with meat, dairy and fresh produce. Financial donations contribute to the overall costs of running the pantry, including rent for the space and maintaining the vehicle that is used to pick up product from the stores. Whether donating food items, gift cards, money or time, your donation will make a difference to those counting on our help. Please, do what you can. Mayor Nicastro had the privilege  to welcome  Flanders Car Wash  located at the Village Mall on Route 206  to the thriving community of Mount Olive.
 

Valentino's of Flanders has just finished renovating their premises and it looks fantastic. The upgraded interior design and modernized facilities are sure to impress both new and returning customers alike.


   From the picturesque views and quaint towns of Southern Italy, the proud owners of Valentino's Pizza, immigrated to the United States in 1979, planting their roots in Brooklyn, NY. This is where Antonio, Giuseppe, and Cosimo's first restaurant business venture began, in 1980. After four successful years, the entrepreneurs moved across state lines into New Jersey, where their love of the business and success flourished.  Throughout the years, multiple businesses were opened around the state in towns like East Hanover, Carteret, Lake Hiawatha, Dover and Hope, New Jersey. The three brother's recently expanded their businesses and opened two more pizzerias named, Mezza Luna in both Milford and Somerset, New Jersey. The original Valentino's was opened in 1992 in the town of Flanders and after 25 years, it's still going strong. At Valentino's we offer casual homemade Italian cuisine with a relaxed atmosphere.

On Saturday, January 6, 2024, Mayor Joe Nicastro officially welcomed Wolf Gym located at 207 US-46 Mt. Olive NJ  www.wolfgymnj.com  to Mount Olive. It was a momentous occasion as it was Mayor Nicastro’s first ribbon ceremony as Mayor as well as for Wolf Gym.  The community is very excited to have a gym in Budd Lake that is opened 24 hours seven days a week.  As Mayor , it is wonderful to see the growth of business community and flourish with Wolf Gym.  Mayor Nicastro wishing Stephen Bianculli, owner OF Wolf Gym and his staff a heartfelt congratulations to his new company.  May the New Year bring his business endeavor be filled with prosperity, growth, and success.
