Mayor Nicastro had the privilege to meet with the CEO/Owner of Abitronix Hugo Almedia. As part of Mayor Nicastro’s economic development program, he is meeting with all corporations, businesses, eating establishment, and professional services in Mount Olive.  He believes it is imperative to ask the owners what are some of their obstacles they are encounters, their wants  and needs , but most of all how can we as a township help them success. Collaboration, Communication and Caring.

 Animal Care Center  in Flanders .  As pet owners, we understand that your pets play a vital role within the family. Animal Care Centers was founded in 1998 with the idea of bringing the small neighborhood experience to the community. Drs Chris Hallihan and Kristen Casulli started in a small office in Flanders, and then expanded to our current locations in Flanders and in Landing.
The convenience of the two locations to serve our community allows us to offer services for all stages of a pet’s life. Both offices offer a quiet location that specializes in Fear Free techniques and Cat Friendly practices, allowing even the most timid of pets to feel comfortable when they visit.

Although Kathryn has been under chiropractic care for most of her life, it wasn’t until she experienced chronic headaches in high school that she realized how life changing it could be. Regular chiropractic care allowed her to stop taking Excedrin headache every afternoon and helped her understand how her behaviors and environment affected her health.
Kathryn went to Liberty University for her undergraduate degree, earning a dual degree in Business Management and International Business. She then earned her Masters of Science degree in Human Nutrition at the University of Bridgeport. While she did her graduate coursework, she worked for the Midwives of NJ as a Midwife assistant. It was this work that inspired a love for working with mothers and babies, but she knew midwifery wasn’t the right path for her. She was able to witness the power of prenatal and pediatric chiropractic through the midwife patients and decided to go back to school yet again.
Kathryn attended Life University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2021. She joined the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and has earned her Webster and Perinatal certifications. She continues to work towards her CACCP (Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics) so that she can better serve the children in her practice.
Kathryn started Cultivate because she believes that by investing in the health of pregnant women and children, we can cultivate lasting health, not just in this generation, but in all those that follow. “[She] who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and [she] who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (2 Corinthians 9:6)
Outside of chiropractic, Kathryn enjoys traveling the world, reading lots of books, and watching movies with her kitties, Crosby and Nash. She is a devoted “Auntie Kafrin” to her nieces and nephew, and loves spending time with her parents and 3 sisters.

Dr. Jennifer J. Argenziano is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in General Science with Minors in Health Policy Administration and Psychology. While attending Penn State Dr. Argenziano was inducted into Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.Dr. Argenziano received her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. As a dental student, she was the president of UMDNJ’s Italian Dental Society and member of the American Student Dental Association. After dental school, Dr. Argenziano went on the further advance her skills at Morristown Memorial Hospital in their General Practice Residency. In her residency, Dr. Argenziano advanced her skill in cosmetic and implant dentistry, as well as oral surgery and dental trauma.

In her dental practice, Dr. Argenziano continues to expand upon her training by staying up to date on the latest techniques and procedures. She attends numerous hours of continuing education courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and is a member of a young dentists study club that focuses on the latest dental procedures and techniques.

One of my favorite things to do as mayor of Mount Olive Township is visiting our local businesses, I thoroughly enjoy meeting the owners and learning about their journey. Hearing their stories and struggles that they went through in order to establish themselves within this community fills me with a sense pride for all we have achieved together here., Meeting staff members who work tirelessly day-in & out provides valuable insight on how best serve them so everyone can thrive; not just survive! And let's not forget customers - hearing feedback directly from those most impacted by decisions made at town hall gives great perspective when making future choices.

Revive Studios located at 100 US Highway 46 W Budd Lake, I met with the owner Claudine who highlighted their emphasis on proper breathing methods, body movements and transformative practices. They also feature a unique salt cave experience for visitors.

Mayor Nicastro had the opportunity to visit with F un and Friends located at 58 Drakesdale Road Flanders NJ  where he discussed the importance of being Mayor  and our community helpers. In addition, he was able to read to both morning and afternoon classes.
 Fun – N- Friends teaches your child in a structured classroom setting while at the same time promoting independent choices.  We incorporate the Kinesthetic approach.  Children lean by doing.  Your child will explore and discover which will develop confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills.  Larger classes gather as a whole but will have the opportunities to work in smaller groups for both artwork and teacher guided instruction.
 

Mayor Nicastro met with the clergy. He emphasized the importance of inclusivity and unity within the community, regardless of religious beliefs or backgrounds. The clergy members shared their own perspectives on fostering understanding and respect among diverse faith communities in Mount Olive.

Chief Spitzer, Captain Sanchez, and Captain Cordileone also discussed the importance of building strong partnerships with religious leaders to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents. They emphasized the need for open communication and collaboration between law enforcement and the clergy to address community issues and concerns.

Overall, the meeting was a positive and productive discussion on promoting diversity, respect, and cooperation within the Mount Olive community. Mayor Nicastro expressed his gratitude to the clergy members and law enforcement officials for their dedication to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all residents. The Mount Olive Clergy will continue to work together with our residents , businesses and local and organizations to strive for a better future for the township.

Many of our neighbors in Mount Olive struggle to put food on the table, especially now. The Mount Olive Pantry believes that no one should go to bed hungry, and we need your help. While donated food items are greatly appreciated, they often don’t make a meal. Gift cards to the local grocery stores help us fill in the gaps with meat, dairy and fresh produce. Financial donations contribute to the overall costs of running the pantry, including rent for the space and maintaining the vehicle that is used to pick up product from the stores. Whether donating food items, gift cards, money or time, your donation will make a difference to those counting on our help. Please, do what you can. Valentino's of Flanders has just finished renovating their premises and it looks fantastic. The upgraded interior design and modernized facilities are sure to impress both new and returning customers alike.


   From the picturesque views and quaint towns of Southern Italy, the proud owners of Valentino's Pizza, immigrated to the United States in 1979, planting their roots in Brooklyn, NY. This is where Antonio, Giuseppe, and Cosimo's first restaurant business venture began, in 1980. The center is located in Sutton Plaza, Flanders. Kessler has been in Mount Olive since 2019 but celebrated their ribbon cutting with township officials on November 20, 2020.
